Jones Family
Our passion is Highlands.
Hello there! We’re Clemet and Shannon Jones, and we’re jumping into our fifth year of ranching—who knew cows could be so entertaining? We absolutely adore the great outdoors, embracing the wild ride of challenges and rewards that come with it. Our Highland cattle? Oh, they’re the drama queens of the farm! We love brushing them and spoiling with treats—they truly are soulful animals, probably plotting their next snack!
Since we tied the knot in 1997, we’ve grown a beautiful family—1 son, 2 daughters, 4 grandkids and one on the way! In 2020, we struck gold—we purchased this amazing ranch, and with a little divine intervention, we’re ready to be blossoming like a field of wildflowers!
Everything We Offer
At NBSR, our passion and priority is raising exceptional AHCA and HHCA registered Highland cattle. Built right, bred with care, and backed by top-quality genetics, our cattle are known for their structure, temperament, and that signature Highland style. Many of our calves are started on halter training, making them a great fit for the show ring or family-friendly farms.
We also occasionally have Highparks for discussion, and we raise a select group of Gelbvieh cattle known for their size, docility, and productivity.
Interested in beef? We sell whole, half, or quarter beef—custom cut to your liking, and we’ll deliver to the processor for you.
Hay for sale? Yup! We’ve got round bales in two sizes. Just give us a holler and we’ll get you squared away.
